I offer coaching in Spiritual Intelligence, bringing a range of skills to help you to expand and develop in ways that will enrich you.
I was drawn to medicine as a caring profession because I love working with people. Working in General Practice I found I wanted to go deeper, to spend more time with people to find the underlying problems or issues, which led me to psychiatry. I continued to want to go deeper, into psychotherapy, and as I undertook my own therapy as part of the psychotherapy training, I was greatly enriched and transformed by the experience. As well as more free-flowing therapies, I have also loved exploring more structured paths of self-awareness and development, such as Myers Briggs personality testing and Enneagram typology. I have a rich spiritual life and that has changed in course through the years, from my parents Catholicism, benefitting enormously from learning Mindfulness practices, through to Quaker fellowship, and finding a richness in solitude, silence and being in nature. Then the OneSpirit Interfaith seminary led to ordination.
My passion for working with and supporting people in their journey led me to the Deep Change Spiritual Intelligence Coaching and I am proud and pleased to be one of their coaches, doing what I see as very cutting edge work.
I am a Deep Change Certified Spiritual Intelligence coach, www.deepchange.com
I am a doctor (M.B., Ch.B) who worked in General Practice, Psychiatry and Psychotherapy for 28 years. I studied for 3 years with the Institute of Group Analysis, and studied Jungian analysis for 5 years, working with a training analyst. I worked at the Human Rights charity “Freedom from Torture”, working as Head of Doctors. I did a 2 year transformational course with OneSpirit Interfaith Seminary, learning about world religions, psychospiritual deepening, learning spiritual counseling, and training in ceremony and ritual, culminating in ordination in 2013. I then accompanied a class through the same process as a mentor, an experiential training in Mentoring, Facilitation and Spiritual Counseling. http://interfaithfoundation.org/ I am a member of the teaching faculty at OneSpirit.

Who Am I?
I love working with people one to one at a deep level – something I think I am very good at, and makes me feel very fulfilled and I have a wealth of good feedback from clients. I feel that it draws on all of my experiences and training, which is grounded in my innate abilities of deep listening and intuition. I am skilled at “holding a space” for someone to do inner work.
I am passionate about the development of leaders and organisations as I see the emerging future (see Otto Scharmer’s U theory, Frederic Laloux’s “Reinventing Organisations”, Spiral Dynamics , Jim Collins’s “Level 5 leadership”) and I love giving interactive presentations about Spiritual Intelligence in the workplace.
Scotland is my home. I live in Moray. As well as my coaching practice I do personal, heartfelt, meaningful ceremonies such as funerals and weddings. I run Moray Threshold Singers, and we offer to sing very simple, gentle songs in three part harmony, singing with kindness at the bedside of people who are seriously ill or approaching the end of life to bring comfort and ease. I love being outdoors on Moray’s fantastic beaches, I love dancing, singing and playing fiddle at the local trad session.
